The Catholic Identity focus for the month of January is the Holy Family and Vocations. Students and teachers are talking about what God is calling each of us to do, whether in dedication to Religious Life, lay ministry, parenthood, or other roles of service to others. First grade students are sharing about their families. Junior High students will participate in a Vocations Panel to learn first-hand from adults in our community how they discerned their vocation.

The Gospel message is foundational to St. Margaret Mary Catholic School. It is the model for the four-fold purpose of Catholic education, encompassing doctrine, community, service, and worship. The daily effort to live out the Gospel mandate promotes the integration of religion into the overall curriculum. This fosters a loving, caring environment which facilitates learning and supports a deeper commitment to justice, peace, and human dignity.
