Principal’s Message

Dear Friends,

The door has closed on another year of growth for St. Margret Mary Catholic School students in faith and knowledge. School halls are now quiet, yet memories of the past unique school year remain. This was truly a year unlike any other school year. So many changes were required in order for the school community to remain safe and healthy, and together, with God’s grace, we made it work! We thank God for carrying us through this year of Covid.

Catholic Identity was woven throughout the year’s events, including the recent graduation of the SMMCS Class of 2021 and the year-end school Masses.  As we look back on all of the special memories of the 2020-2021 school year, we thank God for the gift of Catholic education and St. Margaret Mary Catholic School where we strive to educate the whole child. Our sure and steady Catholic faith carried us through the many challenges of the school year.

The summer months provide an opportunity for well-earned rest and renewal for all; it is a time to slow down and breathe. It is also a time of preparation for the coming school year. Many summer facility projects will take place on the school campus in preparation for the coming school year. Throughout the summer we will be busily preparing for the 2021-2022 school year. Stay tuned for details!

We wish you an enjoyable, safe, and relaxing summer. As we look toward the upcoming new school year, we pray for God’s continued blessings on our school and parish community. And remember: “There is no vacation from vocation.”

In Christ’s love,
Mrs. Katie Walsh
