Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ: Corpus Christi

This weekend we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ: Corpus Christi. In the gospel reading, we read of Jesus teaching the crowd, healing those in need of healing, and multiplying the fishes and the loaves. This story reminds us of the great abundance of Jesus’ nourishment. As we receive the Eucharist, we are nourished with an abundance that is beyond human understanding.
