This weekend we celebrate the Twenty-fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time. In the gospel reading below, we read of God’s immeasurable generosity and mercy that is without limits. In the first reading, the prophet Isaiah reminds us that God is generous and forgiving: “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways, says the Lord.” God’s forgiveness, mercy, and generosity is often beyond our human understanding.
