Gospel Reflection

This weekend we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. In the gospel reading below, Jesus tells us that he is the “bread come down from heaven.” As we receive Jesus in the Eucharist we become what we eat; we become the Body of Christ. Each time we are fed with the Bread of Life, we are brought more closely together as members of the one Body of Christ.

While they practiced counting by tens, they were also learning the power of giving. Every treat sold went directly to our Haiti Ministry!
