Community Service

St. Margaret Mary Catholic School has a history of putting faith into action. From Kindergarten buddying up with Eighth Grade for Mass to Fifth and First-grade reading buddies, nearly all of our lower grades have a partner relationship with upper-class students.

In our local community, all grade levels participate in several service projects throughout the year.  The entire school community participates in several activities in support of our school friends in Haiti – collecting supplies, manning bake sales, creating and exchanging art works, etc.

Each month, SMMCS students actively support the Coalition for the Homeless, collecting food items, packing, and attaching notecards of prayers to the lunches.

During the holiday season, SMM Parish teams up with the school to collect items for the holidays. In November, we collect food items to help families in need for our Thanksgiving Store. In December, we collect for all grade levels to open our Christmas Store.
