Solemnity of Pentecost

This weekend, we celebrate the Solemnity of Pentecost. In the gospel reading below, we read of Jesus sending the Spirit and commissioning the disciples to forgive sins. God’s loving forgiveness enables us to build right relationships with others and to open ourselves up to others.
