Fourth Week of Easter:

This weekend we celebrate the Fourth Sunday of Easter. In the reading below, Jesus calls himself the Good Shepherd. He laid down his life for his sheep, in accord with his Father’s will, and out of love for us. Because of our Baptism, we also are called to be good shepherds by closely listening to the voice of God and by laying down our lives in service to others. We are strengthened to do this by making Jesus’ voice the guiding force in our daily lives.
