Dear Friends,
The new school year is off to a strong start. This new beginning holds great promise for our school community. The school’s hallways are filled with happy students who are excited to share the school year together as a school community.
At St. Margaret Mary Catholic School each day and each activity in prayer, centered in our belief in Jesus Christ. We pray that during this school year our school community will grow closer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. We remain steadfast in prayer, and families are invited to send special intentions and prayer requests to walshk@smmknight.org. These intentions are shared with the classes, and prayers are offered through the intercession of our patroness, St. Margaret Mary of Alacoque.
Students and teachers are busily engaged in learning opportunities that promote active, enriched learning. Hands-on lessons take place for students of all ages, from Pre-K and Kindergarten explorations to eighth grade students studying Theology, Physics, and Algebra, and all grades in between. The integration of faith across the curriculum, critical thinking and problem solving opportunities, and the utilization of technology as a learning tool are taking place, as students are challenged to “stretch and grow” in their thinking and learning.
We thank the St. Margaret Mary Catholic School parents for supporting Catholic education that seeks to teach and form the whole child. Our school strives to partner with parents in the faith formation and education of our students. We are honored to serve the students and families of St. Margaret Mary Catholic School.
God bless you,
Mrs. Katie Walsh
Principal, St. Margaret Mary Catholic School
