Dear Friends,

Happy Easter season to you and your family! As a faith community, we journeyed through Lent, and now we join together in celebrating the joy of this Easter season as we once again proclaim, “Alleluia!” We are a joyful people who celebrate the glorious resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are called to fully open ourselves up to the mystery of the resurrection by our daily acts to take up Jesus’ love, care, and empathy for others. For the fifty days of Easter, may we reach out to others as we live Jesus’ risen life.

During this Easter season, many of our second-grade students will receive their First Holy Communion. We pray for all who are preparing to receive Eucharist for the first time. We also look forward to the May Procession when our community will come together to honor our Blessed Mother.

During these spring days, St. Margaret Mary students are working hard in their studies, are enjoying soccer, basketball, and flag football, are preparing for the Diocesan Art Show, the Second Grade Bible Re-enactment, the SMM Talent Show, Band and Choir Concert, the Theology Bowl and so much more! It is a busy time, filled with blessings as we celebrate our many gifts from God.

At this time of great joy, the staff of St. Margaret Mary Catholic School and Parish wishes you and your family a happy and blessed Easter season.

In Christ’s love,
Mrs. Katie Walsh
