Gospel Reflection

This weekend, we celebrate the Seventeenth Sunday in Ordinary Time. In the Gospel reading below, Jesus speaks of those things that we treasure. We are called to seek the kingdom of heaven—that is where our treasure should lie, for its value is immeasurable. God’s kingdom isn’t a thing or a place; rather, we experience it in our interactions with others who seek God’s will in their lives.
