Gospel Reflection

This weekend, we celebrate the Solemnity of Pentecost. In the gospel reading below, we read of Jesus sending the Spirit and commissioning the disciples to forgive sins. God’s loving forgiveness enables us to build right relationships with others and to open ourselves up to others. We experience the peace of Christ as we take up his mission and seek and extend forgiveness to others.

While they practiced counting by tens, they were also learning the power of giving. Every treat sold went directly to our Haiti Ministry!
